The combination of FXS and FXO ports allows to dedicate at each site a number of ports for outgoing calls (FXO on the
PBX and FXS on the SmartNode) and a number of ports for incoming calls (FXS on the PBX and FXO on the
SmartNode – diarect inward dialing).
