Receiving Faxes

1 If the AUTO ANSWER light is off, turn it on
by pressing
PQ .
● The display will show the number of rings
before the unit answers a call in FAX ONLY
mode.

● When receiving calls, the unit will
automatically answer all calls and only
receive fax documents.

Activating FAX ONLY mode
Note:
● If the AUTO ANSWER light is already on and you wish
to change the ring setting, turn it off once then on
again by pressing
PQ and follow the
instructions in step 2.
● This mode should not be used with a telephone line
which is used for both phone calls and faxes. Fax
communication will be attempted even if someone is
trying to call you. We recommend the following setup:
