Problem Check points
Even if connected by the
USB cable, this unit is
not recognized by the
PC. ≥ Select another USB terminal on the PC.
≥ Check the operating environment. (P11)
≥ Disconnect the AC adaptor and the USB cable and then
connect them again.
When the USB cable is
disconnected, an error
message will appear on
PC. ≥ To disconnect the USB cable safely, double-click the ( )
icon in the task tray and follow the instructions
on the screen.
The PC will not start up.
≥ DId you connect this unit to the PC with the USB cable before
turning on the power to the PC?
> Start up the PC and then connect this unit to it.
A region code setting
screen appears when
trying to play a DVD
video.
≥ The region code is not set when this unit is purchased. Check
the setting contents and then click [OK]. Playback of the DVD
video will start after the setting is changed to the new region
code. You can change the setting 5 times. Be aware that you
cannot change the setting after the fifth time and the region
code is fixed to the last setting.
