B’s Recorder / B’s CLiP
“B’s Recorder” and “B’s CLiP” are CD and DVD recording software applications devel-
oped by B.H.A Corporation.
Here, explanations are given on general information about B’s Recorder and B’s CLiP, the
installation procedure, and how to access the online manual. Refer to the online manual
concerning the detailed use of the software application (
page 19).

CD-R* 1 (one-time recordable CD media)
CD-RW (writable/rewritable or erasable CD media)

1 (one-time writable DVD media)
+R* 1 (one-time writable media)
+R DL* 1 (single-sided dual-layer one-time recordable media)
DVD-RAM* 1 (rewritable DVD media)
DVD-RW (writable/rewritable or erasable DVD media)
+RW (writable/rewritable or erasable media)
* 1 Applicable only for B’s Recorder. Cannot read from or write to CD-R/DVD-R/+R/+R DL/
DVD-RAM disc using B’s CLiP.
About Copies
When writing to discs, make sure that you are not infringing any copyrights.
It is illegal to copy audio CDs for non-personal use.
When backing up software, make sure that you are not infringing any software copy-
rights for that product.
Installing B’s Recorder / B’s CLiP
Windows 2000
Before installing B’s Recorder/B’s CLiP, confirm that Adaptec CD-Burning Plug-
in is uninstalled.
CAUTION
1 Set “DVD Drive Utility Disc” in the drive. ( page 12 step 1 )
2 Select [B’s Recorder Gold/B’s CLiP Setup].
3 Select [B’s Recorder GOLD BASIC] and follow the on-screen instructions.
During the course of the installation process, you will be asked to input a serial number.
Input the serial number marked on the sticker on the packaging of the CD case or on the
disc itself.
