the current tape position will be briefly displayed on the screen.

There are three different types of display available.

reasons.

4 This may happen, for example, when you insert an

incompletely-rewound cassette into the video

recorder and rewind it to the start of the tape.

Since the display is automatically reset to

“00:00:00” when you insert a cassette, the

actual start of the cassette for the set is less than

zero - thus in the negative range.The tape position

is displayed with a minus sign “-”.

4 The set needs a little time to calculate the remaining

playing time.After a few seconds, the display should

change from --:--:-- to the corresponding value

the tape position disappears again.

“COUNTER” :

The display shows the number of

minutes of tape already played after

insertion of the cassette

(hours/minutes/seconds)

“TIME LEFT” : The display shows the remaining

playing time to the end of the

cassette (hours/minutes/seconds)

“TIME USED” : The actual tape position (from the

start of the tape to the present tape

position) will be displayed.
