Taking Pictures with Digital Filters (Digital Filter Mode)
You can take pictures using digital filters. The filters consist of
color filters such as red, blue and green, and a slim filter that
produces a slim effect.
b Color Filters
Eight color filters are provided: black-and-white, sepia, red, pink,
violet, blue, green and yellow. When you select a color filter in
the Digital Filter mode, the display on the LCD monitor is filtered
with the selected color, and the pictures are taken in that color.
b Slim Filter
You can set the degree of slimness in 8 steps vertically or hori-
zontally.

Press the four-way controller ( ̄) in Capture mode.
The virtual mode dial is displayed.

Use the four-way controller ( ̇̈) to select the Digital
Filter mode .

Press the four-way controller ( ̄).
The filter options screen is displayed.

Use the four-way controller ( ̆̄) to select the filter you
want to use.

Press the OK button.
n
Press the shutter release button.
The picture is taken.
Setting the slim filter
When you select the slim filter in Digital Filter Mode, the slim-
ness setting screen is displayed.

Use the four-way controller ( ̇̈) to set the slimness.
Decreases slimness.
Increases slimness.

Press the OK button.
The camera returns to digital filter mode.
• The digital zoom cannot be used when the slim filter is
selected.
