Attaching the Monitor Hood
If you record outdoors and the sunlight is
strong, it is difficult to see the LCD monitor.
In this case, by attaching the supplied
monitor hood, you can see well.

Let the monitor hood slide in the
direction of the arrow, aligning its top
with the optical finder base

Affix it to the camera by turning the
screw on the monitor hood with the
supplied metal plate

Open the top hood a in the direction
of the arrow.
• Open also the side hood as shown
in the left side picture.
[Closing B]

Press both sides of the side hood b
in the direction of the arrow.

Close the top hood following the
direction of the arrow.
• When changing the battery, remove the
monitor hood.
• After installing the monitor hood, it is still
possible to attach the tripod.
