Three-way calls
A three-way call is when you need to interrupt an existing conference call to call someone who might
have an answer to a question or advice for a situation. In this case, the conference call is temporarily
suspended and a third party is called but not joined to the conference. After the three-way call is
placed, the third party rings off and the conference call is reinstated.

Call waiting
During an existing conference call, someone may call into the conference, resulting in a call-waiting
tone broadcast from the Polycom CX5000 device speaker. This could be someone wanting to join the
conference, or simply someone with a quick question or relevant piece of information. You can accept
the call and get back to your conference quickly by using call waiting. Or, you can choose to ignore
the call and continue with your conference.
