Installing Squeezebox Boom
A Word About the Operating Environment
Squeezebox Boom is intended primarily for indoor use. It can be used
outdoors temporarily when adequate protection is provided against moisture
and extreme temperatures. When using outdoors, be sure to keep it out of
direct sunlight, as it may cause interference with the infrared sensor. For
more information, see Safety Information later in this guide.
Setup at a Glance
Setting up your Squeezebox Boom for the fi rst time consists of four steps:
Making a note of your wireless settings. If you’re connecting your
