Picture Card (also called a memory card)

The camera does not
recognize your
Picture Card.
The Picture Card
may not be
CompactFlash
certified.
Purchase a certified
CompactFlash Picture Card

The Picture Card
may be corrupt.
Reformat the Picture Card

Caution: Formatting erases all
pictures from the card.
No Picture Card is
inserted in
camera.
Insert a Picture Card.
Camera freezes up
when a Picture Card
is inserted or
removed.
Camera detects an
error when the
Picture Card was
inserted or
removed.
Turn the camera off, then back
on.
Make sure the camera is off when
inserting or removing a Picture
Card.
