Adjusting the Camera Sounds
The camera provides sounds (beeps) to let you know when certain functions
are being performed. You can set the camera to make sounds for most
functions, for selected functions, or to make no sounds at all.
NOTE: Set the Camera Sounds to OFF when taking pictures at events that
require a quiet environment, for example, a wedding or a play.

Turn the Mode dial to Setup
.

Highlight the Camera Sounds menu
, then press Select.

Highlight the Camera Sounds setting you
want to use.
OFF—provides no camera sounds.
SELECTED ON (default)—provides
camera sounds only when the Shutter
button is pressed or for camera warnings.
ALL ON—provides camera sounds
whenever possible, for most functions.

Press Select.
This setting remains until you change it.
