TWIN FUNCTIONS
The UFC 861 is equipped with two tuners, enabling you to perform two separate functions at the same time,
including:
• Picture-in-Picture
(PIP),
• Time-shift and
• One-touch recording
can be performed at the same time.
The picture-in-picture function permits simultaneous viewing of two programmes. This allows you to see
when a programme you want to watch begins without having to leave the programme you are currently
viewing. Due to its small size, the PIP window is only intended to be used for control purposes and is thus
not suitable for viewing complete broadcasts.
When you press the
!
(green) button the fi rst time a window opens up in the top right-hand corner.
The channel is indicated underneath the picture:
PICTURE-IN-PICTURE (PIP)
CHANNEL SELECTION IN THE MAIN PICTURE
CHANNEL SELECTION IN THE PIP
CHANNEL SWITCH BETWEEN MAIN PICTURE AND PIP
The button allows switching between the two channels being received (main picture and PIP).
The channel in the PIP window can be changed using the buttons, working in the sequence shown
in the currently selected channel list.
You can still change channel in the main picture with the channel buttons
&
in the usual way.
