oXYgen Scan Version 2.5.5 Release Notes
16-bit B/W Mode
16-bit B/W
is a new scanning mode for scanning B/W images, as well as RGB
images, that addresses the ever-increasing need for archival of analog images as
digital media. Many analog originals are historical black-and-white negative
images. To ensure that these images are preserved digitally, the maximum amount
of image information must be captured in digital form.
