Editing
1 Play a MD.
2 Press the EDIT/SPACE key to switch the
editing mode on.
Confirm that the track has been erased.
Use the following procedure to erase a single track being
played.
Be careful in using this operation because a track cannot be
recovered once it has been erased.
Select “ERASE”.
Execute the track erasure operation.
÷ It takes a while until the execution completes.
÷ The track being played is erased (together with its track title).
÷ If you execute an editing operation by mistake, the condition before
editing can be recovered by performing the “EDIT CANCEL” opera-
tion.

÷ Editing is aborted if no operation has been performed for 8 seconds.
Display after execution
“EDIT NOW!” : When editing is in progress
“COMPLETE!” : When editing is completed successfully
“CAN’T EDIT” : When editing is incomplete
Confirm that the track has been erased.
Preparation
Erasing the track being played (TRACK ERASE)
1 Select “ERASE”.
2 Set the selection (by pressing the JOG
DIAL).
The modes are switched by rotating the JOG DIAL.
1 DIVIDE?
: Dividing a track
2 COMBINE? : Combining tracks
3 ERASE?
: Erasing track(s)
4 MOVE?
: Moving (reordering) tracks
Track No. to be erased
Indicates erase operation.
