Always insert and remove the batteries and memory cards with dry, clean
hands.

If water gets into the camera, remove the batteries and lens glass cover
and allow the camera to dry completely. Do not apply power to the
camera until it is completely dry.

Before using the camera, make sure the lens cover is secured and that all
sensors and lenses are clean and dry.

Although the camera can be used at the beach, use extreme caution not to
get sand on the camera seals.
