Listening to your favorite titles (BEST SELECTION mode) (Mechanism-A only)

You can select only your favorite titles and register them
as the best selection. Use the following procedure to reg-
ister favorite tracks in the best selection file while playing
a CD.

Play the track to be registered.

÷ Only the track being played can be registered.

Preparation

÷ Load discs into the carousel.

Register it in the best selection file.

Register other favorite tracks by performing
steps

1 and 2 for each of them.

÷ Up to 32 tracks can be registered. “FULL” is displayed when no more

disc is acceptable.

Check that the Mechanism-A is in the normal play
TRACK mode, and set the Mechanism-A to stop mode.

Press the BEST SELECTION key.

DELETE/

CLEAR

÷ The tracks are played in the order they were registered.

÷ If a track to be played is located in the disc played on Mechanism-B, that

track will be skipped.

÷ Each time the CHECK key is pressed, the disc numbers and track

numbers are displayed in the order they were registered.

÷ When the REPEAT key is pressed, playback of the best selection file

will be repeated.

For continuous playback

Press the CONTINUOUS PLAY key.

To quit BEST SELECTION mode

Press the

7 key during playback.

÷ The recorded contents remain stored even when best selection mode

is quit.

To delete the registered best selection

This is done during best selection mode.

1Play the track to be

cleared.

2Press the CLEAR key.
