Tabs
Up to eight tabs may be set. Tabs may be set outside of margins. The tab
settings remain until changed again. (If Auto Return is activated, tabs
cannot be set beyond the right margin. Refer to “Auto Return.”)
Setting Regular Tabs
1.
Move the Mode Selector to
Type
. A typing scale appears on
the display.
2.
Position the cursor to the desired tab location.
3.
Press Tab S. The symbol “ T ” appears on the typing scale, and a beep
is heard.
4.
You can then change to
Mem
Mode if desired, if desired.
Using Tabs
Press Tab/Tab C. In
Type
Mode, the print hammer and cursor move to
the tab setting. In
Mem
Mode, the print hammer does not move. The Tab
Symbol (
) appears on the display.
