The MARK/MOB key
Pressing [MARK/MOB] and immediately releasing places Mark under the ship's position
when in Home Mode (in Cursor Mode under the cursor).
Press and hold the [MARK/MOB] key until the MOB is shown on the chart display automatically
places a MOB on the Chart page and all navigation is towards the position of the MOB Mark.
The ROUTE key
When pressed places a Waypoint. Succeeding presses place more Waypoints to form a
Route.
The PWR key and Lamp/Contrast
Press and hold [PWR] to turn the GPS Chart Plotter On or Off. Once on press [PWR] to show
the Contrast and Backlight popup window. Press and immediately release [PWR] to adjust
light and contrast on the display.
7.0.0 The Alphanumeric keys
The 10 alphanumeric keys are used for entering in letters and numbers to assist creating
marks, routes, track and other selections.
1. To enter letters (example for a mark) locate and press the key labled with the letter you
want, you may have to press the key a few times to select the correct letter.
2. To enter a number (example Lat/Lon in a mark) press the key of the number you wish
to enter, continue pressing the key until the number is selected.
To move to next letter or number, move the ShuttlePoint knob to the right or the left and
repeat step 1. or 2. above.
7.0.1 The Soft Keys
The 6 keys in the bottom part of the front panel (hereinafter named Soft Keys) have different
functions associated depending on the page selected: when any soft key is pressed the
labels are shown on the screen immediately above the keys (the user can customize the
function associated).
The Soft Keys
These keys allow quick selection to the many pages the GPS Chart Plotter has. These keys
can be customized to your preference, however from the factory the keys are preprogram-
med with the following pages. From left to right VIDEO, NAV, HIGHWAY, CELEST, CHART
and LIST. Press any of the keys and you will see popup windows above the keys. To goto
a specific page press the key with the desired popup window. The popup windows will
automatically disappear if a key is not pressed or can be removed by pressing [CLR].
NOTE
When the Fish finder page or Radar page is show the softkeys are used to control the settings
(Gain, Range etc) of the page, not to switch to a different page.
