MMS Setup
• Click the Control Panel icon from the list of icons at the top then click the
Connections tab.
• Click Internet Accounts then click the New button to start creating a new connection.
• The Internet Account window will open and Account Name will be displayed. Enter
Vodafone MMS PXT.
• Connection Type will be displayed and select GPRS from the drop down box. Click on
the Advanced button.
• Click on the Server tab.
• Under the Server tab the User Name and Password Required box left to un-ticked.
• In the Address field type in live.vodafone.com.
• Click on the Login tab.
• Under the Login tab the box Get IP Address Automatically should be ticked.
• Scroll down the page and make sure the Get Primary and Secondary DNS Address
Automatically box is ticked.
• Click on the Proxy tab.
• The Use Proxy Server box should be unticked.
• Click the Other tab, the Enable PPP Extensions box should be unticked.
• Authentication should be set to Normal.

• Return to the main menu.
• Select the Control Panel icon from the list of icons at the top then select the
Connections tab.
• Select WAP Accounts. In the WAP Accounts window select New.
• In the Account Name box type in Vodafone MMS PXT.
• Under the Internet Account drop down box select Vodafone MMS.
• Tick the Use Proxy box.
• In the address field type 172.030.038.003.
• In the Port field type 9201.
• The Username and Password field can be left blank.
• Click Done then select the Preferred tab.
• Tick the Use WAP Account box.
• Under the Preferred drop down box select VF WAP GPRS then click Done.
• Return to the main menu.
• Select the Control Panel icon from the list of icons at the top and select the
Connections tab.
• Select Messaging Accounts.
• Select the MMS tab.
• Under Service Centre Address enter
http://pxt.vodafone.net.nz/pxtsend

• Under WAP Account select Vodafone MMS PXT.
• Set Automatic to Off.
• Set Download Size to No restrict.
• Click the Advanced button.
• Click the Send tab.
• Set the Validity Period to Maximum.
• Set Priority to Normal.
• Leave all the other boxes un-ticked.
• Click the Receive tab.

Leave the rest of the boxes un-ticked.
• Click Done twice and then exit to the main screen and that’s it.
