Some typical applications for the EZ Switch 10/100 are illustrated below:

Standalone LAN

In the figure below, the EZ Switch 10/100 is operating as a collapsed
backbone for a small LAN. It is providing dedicated 10 Mbps full-duplex
connections to workstations and 200 Mbps full-duplex connections to
power users and servers.
