Recharging the battery pack
After attaching the battery pack, connect the AC
power adapter, then recharge the battery pack. (When
using a recharged battery pack, the AC power adapter
is not necessary for operation.)

Attach the battery pack to the player.

Connect the AC power adapter to the player and
plug into the wall outlet.
When charging starts, “CHG” appears in the front
panel display.

Disconnect the AC power adapter from the player
and pull out from the wall outlet after charging.
When charging is complete, “CHG” disappears
from the front panel display.
When to recharge the battery pack
When the battery power becomes weak, “ i” appears
on the TV screen and in the front panel display while
using the player. If you continue to use the player
while “
i” is displayed, eventually the player will
stop working. Connect the AC power adapter to start
recharging the battery pack.
Notes
• If you turn on the
player while charging,
charging is suspended
until you turn off the
player.
• If you press · while
charging, charging is
suspended and
playback starts.
Charging will resume
when you turn off the
player.
• If you press OPEN
while charging,
charging is suspended.
After a while, the
charging restarts.
