You can access the J

pressing and holding the J

button for 1½ seconds.
There are two options available for jump button settings: T
RAFFIC AND
C
HANNEL
(see
Figure 83, left). The currently-selected option is indicated by the check-mark.
Setting the Jump Button to Traffic
To set the jump button to jump to traffic reports:
Select the J
UMP TO
T
RAFFIC
option (see Figure 83, left). The T
RAFFIC
screen will
appear (see Figure 83, right).
Select the city for which you would like to hear traffic reports. (To exit this menu
without changing your current city selection, press the M
ENU
button 3 times).
Note: If the channel list has not yet been downloaded from the SIRIUS data stream,
an U
PDATING
C
ITY
L
IST
notification screen will be displayed. Wait 10 minutes and then try
selecting a city again.
Setting the Jump Button to a Channel
To set the J
UMP
button to any channel other than a traffic channel:
Select the J
UMP TO
C
HANNEL
option (see Figure 83, left).
Press the M
ENU
button to exit the M
ENU
O
PTIONS
and return to the Default display
screen. You can now program the J
UMP
button by tuning to your desired channel
and pressing and holding the J
UMP
button for 1½ seconds, as described in the
Jump Button section on page 79.
