FM TRANSMITTER
The FM T
RANSMITTER
menu option allows you to enable or disable the SP5’s built-in FM
transmitter, and select up to 5 different FM transmitter frequencies.
FM Presets
Select the FM T
RANSMITTER
menu option. The FM T
RANSMITTER
screen will appear. See
Figure 82, left.
Highlight FM and press the Select button to select ON or OFF. (Selecting OFF
turns the SP5’s FM transmitter OFF.)

(see Figure 82, center).
FM1 is factory-set to 88.1MHz. This may not be the best frequency for your area.
To change it, highlight and select FM1. The S
ET
FM P
RESET
1 screen will appear
(see Figure 82, right).
Highlight an FM frequency that’s not being used by a broadcaster in your area,
then press the Select button to select it. The S
ET
FM P
RESETS
screen will return.
Repeat Steps 4 and 5 to set FM transmitter frequency presets FM2 – FM5.
Note: To switch the FM transmitter preset frequency while listening to your SP5,
press the FM Presets/M
ENU
button on the SP5 front panel, or press the FM Presets
button on the remote.
