Selecting the A
LL
C
ARS
option notifies you when any NASCAR driver is
racing. You can choose to be notified either by the pop-up NASCAR Alert, by the
NASCAR ticker, or by both (see Figure 98, below):
a) Pressing the Select button will select T
ICKER
(a check-mark will appear in the
adjacent box). Pressing the Select button again will select A
LERT
.
b) Pressing the Select button a third time will deselect T
ICKER
(the check-mark will
disappear); pressing the Select button a fourth time will deselect A
LERT
.
When you’re done selecting drivers/car numbers, press the Menu button. The NASCAR
screen will return (see Figure 97, left, on page 110). Select the types of NASCAR alerts
you want:

ACE
A
LERT
: Displays a pop-up alert when any race featuring your selected cars is
running (see Figure 98, left). The alert will show the driver’s name/car number and
the channel carrying the race. Use the Select button to choose O
N
or O
FF
.
T
ICKER
: Displays information for races featuring your selected car numbers continually
while races are running (see Figure 98, right). The currently-playing artist and song
title will still be visible when the ticker is active. Use the Select button to choose O
N
or O
FF
.
