The following writable discs are compatible with the DVDirect. However, not all disc
operations are supported.

• The DVDirect supports both CPRM and non-CPRM discs.
b Note
• Blu-ray disc, DVD-R DL (Double layer), CD-R, CD-RW and 8cm discs are not supported.
Notes on using discs
• When adding videos to a previously-recorded disc (unfinalized disc), connect a camcorder
to the DVDirect using the same connector as the previous recording. For example, you
cannot add recordings to the disc using the VIDEO IN connector after recording to the disc
using the USB port.
• You cannot add recordings to a disc created on a PC or other DVD device.
