Hydro Belt Routing & Replacement
9 Disconnect spark plug wire
9Apply parking brake
9Disconnect wiring from electric clutch
9Remove clutch stop weldment (9973TK)
9 Remove the engine to deck belt
9Disconnect idler spring
9 Disconnect tension idler
9 Remove belt from the engine pulley and from
the Hydro pulleys
Removal
9 Install new belt by placing it around
the engine pulley and the hydro pulleys.
Refer to routing diagram below.
9 The belt will be loose at this time
9 Tightly secure the belt tension back
to its original position
9 Reinstall the belt from the engine to
the deck
9Reconnect wiring to the electric clutch
9Reconnect spark plug wire
