DV terminal For Digital-To-Digital Transfer

All models of DVL series are provided with a DV terminal* (i.LINK:

IEEE 1394 compliant) for fast, lossless digital transfer to a computer,

as well as for dubbing to another DV unit in native DV format.

*Input and output for GR-DV557/357/157, output only for GR-DVL555/450/355/150

PC (Serial) Terminal For Easy Still Image Capture

For models not equipped with digital still camera facility, there’s a serial

terminal for direct connection to PCs with serial ports (RS-232C), enabling

you to take advantage of computer-controlled still image capture using the

provided JLIP software without installing an additional board.

Digital NightScope For Extreme Low-Light Shooting

With enhanced low-light sensitivity, JVC’s exclusive Digital NightScope function allows you to

capture clear, bright images at night without loss of colour associated with other night-

shooting systems. Without relying on infrared rays as do similar systems, Digital NightScope

uses the camera’s normal optical system. As a result, the image you shoot is always in

colour, and there’s no limit on shooting range.
