Operate the remote control by pointing it at the TV.

NOTE
• When the remote control mode selector is slid to
[TV], some buttons may not work.

Slide the remote control
mode selector to [VCR/
DBS].

Press [VCR] or [DBS].

Hold down [VCR/DBS F].
• Hold down [VCR/DBS F] until you finish
step 5.

Press [ENTER] and release.

Press number buttons to enter the
manufacturer code.
Manufacturer codes for VCRs
Examples:
For a Hitachi VCR: Press [0], then [4].
For a Mitsubishi VCR: Press [1], then [3].
When the manufacturer of your VCR has 2 or more
codes, select the manufacturer codes in turn and
find the one that operates the VCR and the remote
control properly.
