Administrator
password
Select
this
choice
to
set
an
administrator
password.
The
administrator
password
provides
access
to
all
choices
on
the
Configuration/Setup
Utility
main
menu.
You
can
set,
change,
or
delete
both
the
administrator
and
power-on
passwords
and
allow
a
power-on
password
to
be
changed
by
the
user.
You
can
use
any
combination
of
up
to
seven
characters
(A–Z,
a–z,
and
0–9)
for
your
administrator
password.
Keep
a
record
of
your
password
in
a
secure
place.
The
administrator
password
is
available
only
if
the
optional
IBM
Remote
Supervisor
Adapter
is
installed
in
your
server.
Attention:
If
an
administrator
password
is
set
and
then
forgotten,
it
cannot
be
overridden
or
removed.
You
must
replace
the
system
board.

ID
for

The
integrated
SCSI
controller
with
RAID
capabilities
in
your
server
supports
only
RAID
level-1.
Installing
an
optional
ServeRAID-5i
controller
provides
additional
RAID
levels.

If
you
install
a
different
type
of
RAID
adapter
in
your
server,
use
the
configuration
method
supplied
with
the
RAID
adapter
to
view
or
change
SCSI
settings
for
attached
