Configuring
your
server
The
following
configuration
programs
are
provided
with
your
server:

Configuration/Setup
Utility
This
program
is
part
of
the
basic
input/output
system
(BIOS)
code
that
comes
with
your
server.
You
can
use
this
program
to
configure
serial
and
parallel
port
assignments,
change
interrupt
request
(IRQ)
settings,
change
the
drive
startup
sequence,
set
the
date
and
time,
and
set
passwords.
You
also
can
use
this
program
to
view
the
system
configuration
settings,
for
example,
the
number
and
type
of
installed
microprocessors,
the
amount
of
installed
memory,
or
the
BIOS
diagnostics
version
level.

LSI
Logic
Configuration
Utility
With
the
built-in
LSI
Logic
Configuration
Utility
program,
you
can
configure
the
integrated
SCSI
controller
and
the
devices
that
are
attached
to
it.

ServeRAID
Manager
The
ServeRAID
programs
come
with
your
server.
If
your
server
has
a
ServeRAID
controller
installed,
or
if
you
are
using
the
integrated
SCSI
controller
with
RAID
capabilities
as
a
RAID
controller,
you
must
use
the
ServeRAID
Manager
program
to
define
and
configure
your
disk-array
subsystem
before
you
install
your
operating
system.

This
provides
software-setup
tools

installation

that
are
designed
for

server.
Use
this

during
the
installation

your
server

configure
