5 Enter your 4-digit password (use the default
password “0000” the first time you enter the
Parental menu). The
Parental menu opens.
6 Press the or buttons to select Change
Password, then press OK. The Change
Password box opens.
7 Enter the your new 4-digit password, then
reenter the same password in the Confirm
Password box.
8 Press the or buttons to select Input
Block, then press OK. The Input Block menu
opens.
9 Press the or buttons to select the input
source you want to block, then press OK. A
lock appears in the box adjacent to the
source. Repeat for any additional sources
you want to block.
10 Press EXIT to exit the on-screen menu.
To setup Parental Controls to block TV or
movie programming:
1 Turn on your TV.
2 Press the MENU button on the remote
control. The initial on-screen menu opens.
3 Press the or buttons to select SETUP,
then press OK. The SETUP menu opens.
4 Press the or buttons to select Parental,
then press OK. The Password box opens.
5 Enter your 4-digit password (use the default
password “0000” the first time you enter the
Parental menu). The
Parental menu opens.
6 Press the or buttons to select Program
Block, then press OK. The Program Block
menu opens.
7 Press the or buttons to select Block
MPAA Unrated or Block TV Unrated, then
press the or buttons to block (YES), or
unblock (NO).
8 Press the or buttons to select US TV
Rating, US Movie Rating, Canadian
English Rating, or Canadian French
Rating, then press OK. The requested
submenu opens.
9 Press the or buttons to select the level of
programming to block (see the following
tables for an explanation of the ratings), then
press OK to confirm.
10 Press EXIT to exit the on-screen menu.
