System Partition Manager-specific events can be used to generate alerts
using IBM Director event action plans. Actions will also include the ability to
modify the configuration of complexes, restart partitions, and other activities.
Figure 5-23 shows the IBM Director console with the managed objects
introduced by System Partition Manager.

Figure 5-24 on page 154 shows Partition Assistant, the tool used to define and
manage partitions.
Note: Figure 5-23 also shows some Tivoli-specific icons that are not normally
found in an IBM Director console. They can be ignored for the purposes of
introducing System Partition Manager.
