IBM Active PCI Software Version 5.0.2.0 or later. This software contains the
following components:
– IBM Active PCI filter driver
– IBM Active PCI alert driver
– IBM Active PCI alert service

Once installed, Active PCI Manager appears as a task in the Director console, as
shown in Figure 5-2.

Active PCI Manager is activated by dragging the icon from the Task frame and
dropping it on the icon of the system in the Group Contents frame. Alternatively,
Active PCI Manager is activated by right-clicking the system in the group
contents frame, and selecting Active PCI Manager from the list.
