The message center lets you compose and send text
messages. A
flashing cursor shows where text will appear:
When you enter text using the standard tap method (see
page 33), the flashing cursor changes to a
block cursor,
and the soft key functions change:
Msg:
INSERT CANCEL e
Press CANCEL ( - ) to exit without making changes.
Press M to
open the
sub-menu.
Press
INSERT ( + )
to insert a
quick note,
picture, or
sound.
Flashing
cursor
indicates
insertion
point.

OK DELETE e
Msg:

After two
seconds,
the block
cursor reverts
to a flashing
cursor and moves
to the next position.
Press DELETE ( - ) to delete
the character to the left of the
insertion point.
Block
cursor
indicates
current
highlighted
character.
Press
OK ( + )
to accept
and store
the text.
