(*) The unit can also be turned on by pressing these buttons or inserting a cassette tape.

Q STANDBY/ON button

• Press to turn on the unit, or to turn the unit into the

standby mode. (To completely turn off the unit, you
must unplug the AC power cord.)

• Press and hold for 10 seconds to shut down the unit.

2. C STOP/EJECT A button (TAPE)

• When the unit is in stop mode, press to remove the

cassette tape from the cassette compartment.

• Press to stop cassette tape playback.

3. Cassette compartment (TAPE)

• Insert a cassette tape here.

4. SOURCE button

• Press to select the component you wish to operate.

5. A OPEN/CLOSE button*

• Press to open or close the disc tray.

6. TAPE indicator

• Lights up when TAPE mode is selected.

7. DISC indicator

• Lights up when DISC mode is selected.

8. Disc tray

• Place a disc when opening the disc tray.

9. SD card slot

• Insert an SD Memory Card and play back the

contents in it.

10. B PLAY button* (DISC)

• Press to start or resume playback.

11. C STOP button (DISC)

• Press to stop playback.

12. TRACKING –/ + buttons (TAPE)

• Press to adjust the tracking manually.

13. Infrared sensor window

• Receive signals from your remote control so that you

can control the unit from a distance.

14. B PLAY button (TAPE)

• Press to start a playback of a cassette tape.

15. D F.FWD button (TAPE)

• Press to rapidly advance the cassette tape, or view

the picture rapidly in forward during playback
(forward search).

16. E REW button (TAPE)

• Press to rewind the cassette tape, or to view the

picture rapidly in reverse during playback (rewind
search).

Q STANDBY/ON indicator
• Lights up when the power is in the standby mode.

You must first select either DISC or TAPE operation.

DISC mode
Press [DISC].
(The DISC indicator will illuminate.)

TAPE mode
Press [TAPE].
(The TAPE indicator will illuminate.)
