7.3.1.1. New type of POI

Give your POI file a name.

You can click "
Change icon
" to select a specific icon (cf. §8.4 on creating “*.asc” files).

Click the green " V " to confirm your choice or the red " X " to stop transferring the file or
the arrow to return to the previous step.

7.3.1.3. Delete type of POI
•
Select the category that you want to delete.

Click "
Delete type of POI
".

Click the green " V " to confirm your choice or the red " X " to stop transferring the file or
the arrow to return to the previous step.
•
If the file already exists, a message asks you whether you want to replace the existing file.
•
Click "
Yes
" to replace the file and continue the transfer procedure, or click "
No
" if you
don’t want to replace the existing file or select another file.
•
Otherwise the file will be automatically transferred.
•
Click "
OK
".

If you want to transfer another POI file, click "
Yes
"; otherwise click "
No
".
•
Your POI file has now been transferred to your ViaMichelin Navigation X-930. To check this,
disconnect the device from your PC and in the Main Menu, click "
Settings
" / "
POI " /
"
Display POIs " : you should find that the new category of POI has been added to the list
displayed.
