8. Additional Information

This chapter contains additional instructions on the different menus, to help you get the
best out of your ViaMichelin Navigation X-930 system.
8.1. Free Navigation display
•
If you just want to follow your position on the map, you can use the "
Centre on GPS
"
position option:
- Open the "
Main Menu
".
- Click "
Plan your journey
".
- Click "
Display a map
".
- Click "
Map options
".
- Click "
Centre
".
- Click "
On GPS position
".
•
The map will scroll through, keeping the GPS position in the middle of the screen.
•
If you have selected POI categories and the zoom level allows it, the system will display
the POIs on the screen during navigation.
•
The "
POI Warner
" and "Speed Limit Warner" functions are not enabled when you are in
free navigation.
