Positioning and Securing the Safety Seat/Base

Remove safety seat from base, regardless of whether or not you plan on
using the base. Squeeze the base release handle at the back of the safety
seat and lift the safety seat from the base.

If you are going to use the base, place the base
in a rear-facing position in a forward-facing
vehicle seat

If you are not using the base, place the safety
seat in a rear-facing position in a forward-facing
vehicle seat

. CHILDREN MUST FACE
THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE AND BE
PLACED IN A VEHICLE SEAT THAT
FACES FORWARD.
