Routing Setup Page
This setup page allows you to set methods for guidance,
navigation methods, and next turn prompts, and route
type selection. (See page 73 for detailed instructions.)
Geocache Setup
The Geocache Page setup allows
you to find and record items hidden
at geographic locations. Refer to
the Garmin web site for information
on how to download geocache
locations from the internet, www.
garmin.com/outdoors/geocache/.
To setup the Geocache feature:
1. Press the Page/Quit button or the Main Page
button to access the Main Menu.
2. Highlight the Setup icon from the Main Menu and
press the Thumb Stick In to display the Setup
Menu.
3. Select Geocache and press the Thumb Stick In
to display the setup page.
4. Use the Thumb Stick to highlight the symbol
fields if you want to assign other symbols than the
standard geocache symbols already in place.
5. Select “Yes” or “No” for a calendar entry when a
geocache is found.
Marine Setup
The Marine Page setup allows you to set values for the
limits, which activate alarm features
specific to maritime navigation.
To setup the Marine alarms:
1. Press the Page/Quit button or
the Main Page button to access
the Main Menu.
2. Highlight the Setup icon from
the Main Menu and press the
Thumb Stick In to display the Setup Menu.
3. Select Marine and press the Thumb Stick In to
display the setup page.
4. Highlight the box adjacent to each alarm field and
activate by pressing the Thumb Stick In.
