6 - Advanced Settings
Setup Menu Overview
The Setup menu allows you to customize
your DVD Recorder+VCR. Choose from six
categories:
• Installation
• Recording Options
• Languages
• Preferences
• System Info
• Restore Defaults
About Menu Navigation
• Press SETUP to display and exit the Setup
menu.
• Use the  /  keys to move up and down.
• Use the  /  keys to move left and right.
• Use the ENTER key to make selections.

Installation Settings
The Installation menu allows you to adjust all
channel and clock settings.

TV/CATV
Specifies whether you are using an antenna or
cable TV to receive channels.
If you receive channels from a cable
box or satellite receiver connected to
the Line Inputs, you do not need to
adjust this setting.
1 Press SETUP.
2 Use  /  to select “Installation.”
3 Use  /  to select “TV/CATV,” then press
ENTER.
4 Use  /  to select the desired signal type,
then press ENTER.
• TV - If you are using an Antenna.
• CATV - If you are using a Cable TV
hookup.
5 Press SETUP to exit.
Auto Channel Search
Searches for all available TV stations in the
selected tuner band.
1 Press SETUP.
2 Use  /  to select “Installation.”
3 Use  /  to select “Auto Channel Search,”
then press ENTER.
• The unit searches for all available
stations.
• When finished, the unit displays the
lowest channel found.
