• When selected the adapter to be set and "Driver Parameters" (Individual setting for each

adapter)

In the above diagram, "BX620 S3" represents a local server, and "BX600-FC42E -

10:00:00:00:C9:48:FE:0C" represents an installed 4Gbit/s FC I/O Module.

Click [Topology] in "Adapter Parameter".

Select a value representing the connection type from the list box
to "Value" in "Modify Adapter Parameter", and click [Apply].

Click [QueueDepth] in "Adapter Parameters".

Set a value in "Value" in "Modify Adapter Parameter", and click
[Apply].

The setting value is calculated as follows:

For ETERNUS3000 model 50/GR710/GR720/GR730/GR740/GR820/GR840

• For cluster (MSCS/SynfinityCluster): "8"

• For other than cluster (MSCS/SynfinityCluster)

• When one HBA is connected to one FC-CA (FC port): "16"

• When two HBAs are connected to one FC-CA (FC port): "8"

For ETERNUS3000 model 80/100/200/300/400/500/600/700 and
ETERNUS4000 model 80/100

Setting value (rounding down decimals) = 40/ (number of 4Gbit/s FC I/O Module connected

to one CA port)

When the calculated value is 8 or less, specify "8".

For ETERNUS6000 model 400/500/600/700/800/900/1000/1100

Specify "40".
