Warning Displays
• The data could not be recorded
due to a SmartMedia error or a
connection error between the
SmartMedia and camera.
• The photographed image cannot
be recorded as it is too large to fit
in the available space on the
SmartMedia.
• Re-insert the SmartMedia or switch the
camera off and then on again.
• Use a new SmartMedia.
• The voice caption file is faulty.
• Camera fault.
• The voice caption cannot be played back.
• Contact your FUJIFILM dealer.

image you tried to erase.
To erase the image, specify “RESET” as the
DPOF setting (
➡P.66).

There is a strong likelihood of
camera shake because the shutter
speed is slow.
Use flash photography. However, a tripod
should be used for some scenes and modes.

999–9999.
Take the shot using a formatted SmartMedia.

Prints were specified for more than
1000 frames in the DPOF frame
settings.
The maximum number of frames for which
prints can be specified on the same
SmartMedia is 999.
• The lens cover is closed.
• The lens cover is faulty.
• Open and close the lens cover again.
• Switch the camera off and on again.
There is no music file.
Music playback is not possible. Download some
music file.
This music file was downloaded to a
different SmartMedia.
Insert a new SmartMedia into the camera and
download the music file again.

• The SmartMedia contact area is
soiled.
• Camera fault.
• You attempted to play a movie
with a recording time longer than
20 seconds.
• You attempted to play back a voice
file recorded on a FinePix50i.
• Images cannot be played back.
• Wipe the contact surface on the SmartMedia
thoroughly with a soft, dry cloth. In some cases,
you may have to format the SmartMedia.
• Contact your FUJIFILM dealer.
• You cannot play back movies that are more
than 20 seconds long.
• Images cannot be played back.

A protected frame was erased.
Protected files cannot be erased. Unprotect the
frame using the camera on which the protection
was first applied.
