IMPORTANT! Use only a Power Wheels ® 12 volt lead-acid
rechargeable battery. Use of any other battery will damage
your vehicle. Make sure that you charge the battery for at least
18 hours using the enclosed Power Wheels ® 12 volt charger before
operating your vehicle for the first time. Charge the battery for at
least 14 hours after each use of the vehicle. Never charge the
battery longer than 30 hours. Failure to follow these instructions
may damage your battery and will void your warranty.
• Turn the hood latches a 1 /

turn.
• Lift the hood to access the battery compartment.
• Lift and pull the battery clamp forward.
• Place the battery in the battery compartment and release the
battery clamp. Make sure the battery clamp slides over the top of
the battery.
