SELECTING THE MODE
PHOTOGRAPHY MENU
In this menu, you can select the “ { ”, “ C ” or
“ F ” mode, or the “\” file size/quality setting.
{ AUTO
This is the simplest mode to use and has a wide
range of applications. (
➡ P.20)
✽You can specify the i ( ➡ P.37), P ( ➡ P.38),
and B ( ➡ P.39) settings.
C MANUAL
This mode allows you to take pictures using
combinations of different menu settings.
✽In MANUAL mode, you can select the
i
( ➡ P.37), G ( ➡ P.41), and a ( ➡ P.42) settings.
✽Each time you press the “DISP” button in C
mode, the display mode moves one step in the
cycle from “Text + Video”
➡ “Video only” ➡
“Text only”.
F SET-UP
This mode allows you to change the photo-
graphy settings (
➡ P.59).
\ FILE SIZE/QUALITY
This mode allows you to set the “FILE
SIZE/QUALITY” setting (
➡ P.36).

Set the Mode switch to “ E ”.

Press the “MENU/OK” button to display the
menu on the LCD monitor.

Use the “ d ” or “ c ” button to select the menu
item and then use the “ ab ” button to change
the setting.

Press the “BACK” button to return to the
photography screen.
