Connecting the Side-brake Detection Cord

Note:
Make sure to connect the side-brake cord to ensure safety and prevent accidents.

Out of the two cords coming from the side-brake switch, connect the cord that is normally not earthed on

the chassis (when the side-brake is released.)

Make sure to connect the side-brake cord (blue/yellow) to the wiring of the side-brake switch.

The position of the side-brake switch can differ according to the car model. An example is shown below.

Detailed information is obtainable from the car dealer.

Connecting the Reverse Cord

* Connect the reverse cord (violet/white) to the plus

wire of the backup light. The backup light (with a
clear lens) is located at the rear of the car and lights
when the gear lever is put into reverse (R).
