Before requesting service, check the fo!lovi/ing points once again.
VTR will not operate correctly
SYMPTOM
CAUSE

VTR display is not
Mains lead is not connected.
Reconnect mains lead to VTR.

Turn on the VTR or set POWER SAVE to OFF.
VTR display is

Press TIMER REC to operate VTR manually.

Disconnect mains lead and wait for 1 minute.
Reconnect mains supply and check functions.
The Dew Indicator
IS flashing.
Condensation may have
formed.
Do not operate VTR for 1 hour.
Refer to notes for dew condensation on page 30.
Playback will not operate correctly
