5. Turn the water on.
6. W hile sitting in the operator’s position
on the tractor, re-start the engine and
place the throttle lever in the Fast
position.
IMPORTANT: Recheck the area m aking
certain the area is clear.
7. M ove the tractor’s PTO (Blade Engage)
to the O N position. Remain in the op­
erator’s position w ith the cutting deck
engaged until the deck is cleaned.
8. M ove the tractor’s PTO (Blade Engage)
to the O FF position. Turn the ignition
key to the STO P position to turn the
tractor’s engine off. Turn the w ater off.
9. Pull back the lock collar of the nozzle
adapter to disconnect the adapter from
the nozzle w ashout port.
10. M ove the tractor to a dry area, prefer­
ably a concrete or paved area. Engage
the m ow er deck PTO to rem ove excess
w ater and to help dry before putting the
tractor aw ay.
A w ARNING:
a broken or missing washout
fitting could expose you or others to thrown
objects from contact with the blade.
• Replace broken or missing washout fitting
immediately, prior to using mower again.
• Plug any holes in mower with bolts and
locknuts.
