2. Click the site for the controller that you want to work with. The controllers assigned to that site are listed

below the site name.

3. Click the controller that you want to work with. A blue arrow displays next to the controller that is selected.

Temporarily Changing the Zoom Level or Position of the Map

All users can temporarily change the view of the map in order to see the required amount of detail for a specific

location. Users can also temporarily center the map on a new position.

The company admin can save a map view at a specific zoom level and position. After the zoom level and position

are saved, other users will see the new view.

Note to company admins: If you want to change and save the zoom level for a specific controller map, refer to the

steps in

1. In the main BaseManager interface, position the cursor on the Maps tab, and then click the view that you

want.

Note: If you want to change the view for a specific controller, select the site and controller. Refer to

2. Click the Change Map View icon

at the upper-right corner of the map. The icon changes

to show

that the map is now unlocked.

3. Use one of the following methods to change the zoom level or position:

• Change the zoom level

Use the wheel button on the mouse – Position the mouse pointer on the map and click the left mouse

button. Rotate the wheel button up or down to change the zoom level.

Use the zoom control tools on the map – Click the + button or - button

on the toolbar or use the slider to change the zoom level in small

increments. Move the pointer to the zoom level that you want, and

then click the mouse button.

• Change the position

Click and drag with the mouse – Position the mouse pointer on the

map and click the left mouse button. Hold the mouse button down

while you drag the map to a new position. Release the mouse button.

Click the up/down or left/right arrows on the wheel tool on the

toolbar.

Note to company admins: If you want to save the zoom level for a specific controller, refer to the steps in

Saving a Map View

The company admin can save changes to the zoom level and position of the controller map.

1. In the main BaseManager interface, select the site and controller that you want to save changes to the map

zoom level for.
