IMPORTANT If one of the front doors is not fully
closed or in the event of system failure, central door
locking will not operate and, after 10/11 attempts
in quick succession, the system will be excluded for
about 30 seconds.

LOCKING/UNLOCKING FROM INSIDE

To unlock
Pull the control lever A fig. 45.
With central door locking system (for versions/
markets, where provided), operating the lever A on
the driver's side will unlock all the doors. Lever A on
the other doors will only open the corresponding
door.
To lock
Push the control lever A fig. 45 towards the door.
Operating the lever A on driver's side will lock
all doors. With mechanical locks, without central

locking, closing takes place by operating the
individual control levers.

IMPORTANT On the other doors, the lever will only
lock the door concerned.
For rear doors locking can also be carried out with
the door open by operating the control lever A.

IMPORTANT The locked door condition is indicated
by the red printing B fig. 46.

CHILD LOCK DEVICE

This system prevents the rear doors from being
opened from the inside.
Device A fig. 47 can only be engaged with the doors
open:
❒ position 1 - device engaged (door locked);
❒ position 2 - device not engaged (door may be

opened from the inside).
