4 • System Setup
You can set the system to use either its built-in modem or an external
modem.
1. Press the Options key.
2. Select Setup Menu, then Basic Settings.
3. Press the Options key again then select Phone Setup.
4. Select Modem Type.
5. For normal operation, select the Internal Modem. Choose USB
Modem or Serial Modem only if the internal modem is unavailable.
6. Press Enter. The control centre display confirms your choice.
